In falling film applications

PLATECOIL® heat exchangers configured with the thin liquid film on the outside surface exhibit high velocity and high U values, with low tendency to plug and easy cleaning. The low pressure drop for the external fluid minimizes the head required to lift the fluid to the top of the exchanger for discharge. The units can accommodate two-phase flows both inside and outside, for good performance in evaporative cooling or evaporation processes.
